I loved reading your newsletter. I was raised in an extreme religious household and I identify greatly with much of what you have written regarding family discouraging exploration of spirituality with the family’s generational religion being placed in the stead of any and all spirituality. Finding one’s own way is a beautiful and difficult experience. Thank you for sharing.

I really enjoyed listening to this! I even teared up as you talked about your aunt. I was on a walk I saw a beautiful cardinal which always reminds me of my cousin who passed. I enjoyed this piece a lot and the pictures you shared as well! I also draw a variation that picture you shared I wonder how it connects. I have so much to learn! Thank you for sharing! 💓🥲

Aww, thank you Dalia! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I always get emotional when I talk about my Aunt. I know she's still here with me.❤️

That's so interesting you that you draw a variation of the Unalome symbol! It's worth looking into how it may connect to a past life (if you believe in that). And that's so cool you saw a cardinal, I believe our loved ones who have crossed over always send us messages😉 Happy learning!

This was a great read and resonates so much! I grew up with my mom not really in the church for her own reasons, our extended family had lots to say too- while being imperfect and not in the church either. Anyway, I remember being blown away in my first world religions class about how all of the different religions I learned about had similar roots, I could take and learn from each and now you’ve given me a term + new “rabbit hole” to dig into. Thank you for your time and sharing your heart this way!

Thanks so much for reading! I love how family always has something to say, like...go touch grass😂Yes, religion classes unlocked so much from an unbiased perspective and that's what I loved about my religion classes. Hooray for a new rabbit hole! Let me know what you find! Big love, Ashley!❤️
